The Doors have Closed

Event Log is a simple logger for stuff you do. At least it was. After more than eight years, I closed the doors on November 3rd 2012.

When Event Log was first created, there were literally no "life logging" solutions available, so it was useful. Today there are myriad options for general users. Event Log is very abstract; it is powerful, but requires good data modeling skills to use it well. With so many choices, that "cost" now outweighs the benefits.

As of the 3rd, Event Log has reverted to what it originally was: a tool for me to monitor my life without any constraints beyond the time it takes to write the code. It no longer has to be as pretty, as error free, or as easy to use. All costs I don't mind paying but are unreasonable for general users.
